Participant profile Teenage girls under 18 years of age, one from each Khorog district, interested in nature discovery and mountain wildlife
Objectives :
- to introduce teenage girls to the mountains and nature through a multi-activity camp
- to encourage teenage girls to consider their place as women in society
- to foster an interest in mountain professions
Activities :
- hiking/trekking
- bivouac: nights in the mountains
- mountain cuisine
- observation of fauna and flora
- geological observations
- observation of the stars
- games of orientation
- time for reflection and discussion on the young women’s aspiration
- sensitization on climate change
This wilderness camp will be offered every year.
