Since 2011, I have been working on Tajikistan as part of my ethnological research on marriage, women and kinship. With a degree in philosophy and a doctorate in ethnology, I am now interested in the migration of Tajik men to Russia. My involvement in the WRIP project stems both from a desire to support its ambitions, which seem more than necessary to open up the professional world to Tajik women, and from the need to put into practice a knowledge of the country acquired over several years of research and observation.
